Richmond, TW9

Our team undertook a major project on Edwardian semi-detached house in a conservation area in Richmond. This included reconfiguring the first floor with a side extension, taking out chimney breasts and a corridor and creating two new bathrooms, one of them en-suite plus new access to a boarded loft.

We opened up the ground floor with a modern design and incorporated fantastic wall-to-wall floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors that connects the internal space to the beautiful garden, while bringing lots of light in.

A green roof extends the garden view for the rooms upstairs and is just one of the features that form part of the house’s sustainable design.

The house is now transformed into a light and spacious home that the Clients are thrilled with, and with contemporary elements that reflect the Client’s lifestyle and aesthetic preferences.

Mag Construction team undertook a major project on our Edwardian semi-detached house in a conservation area. This included reconfiguring the first floor with a side extension, taking out chimney breasts and a corridor and creating two new bathrooms, one of them en-suite plus new access to a boarded loft. On the ground floor a new extension, kitchen and utility area with underfloor heating were built with a new boiler and central heating system in the older part of the house.
This all required close liaison with our architect and other suppliers. The standard of work and customer service was first-class. The result is effectively a new house which has been much admired.
